I have a KitchenAid food grinder. I want to get the pasta maker plates that attach to it. What is the difference between the pasta maker and the pasta roller/cutter? Except the roller/cutter is MUCH more expensive. If you have these, please share your thoughts and experiences. The KA website videos do not work and they do not explain these items. Do I need both —the maker and the roller or what?

helllo,one is just the roller that thins out your dough,the cutter roller is the one that cuts your pasta into its desired shape,spaghetti,fettucine,etc

I saw Best Buy had a sale a few weeks back where if you bought 4 or more Kitchenaid appliances you’d get 20% off. Anyone know the best place/best price to purchase several Kitchenaid Architect Series II appliances. (I’m purchasing at least 4). Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!!!

First I would do a search on the Internet. Try all stores in your area, like Sears, Lowes, Home Depot or stores like that which sells appliances. I have found in the past that Best Buy is not always the best buy. I got my TV cheaper at Sears. Just depends on what sales are going on. I bought a Dyson Vacuum on line from a store I never heard of and even with shipping, it was cheaper that any store in my area that I could drive to.
