What is the most inexpensive way to get a really large poster or print on my wall?

Question by missingmymom: What is the most inexpensive way to get a really large poster or print on my wall?
I want to get one of those really large prints on canvas to hang on my wall, like 36×36 or larger (like an art gallery setup) but they are too expensive. Can anyone suggest some cheaper options?

Question by rocketman: how can i print out a map as poster size without losing quality of the detail?
there are a few maps online that i would like to blow up and print out as posters. however, i am worried that blowing them up will cause a loss of quality and detail in the image. is there a way to do it?
fhotoace: a simple answer would have sufficed. i’m sorry that your charade of keyboard machismo is the only avenue by which you can seek meaning some meaning for your otherwise pathetic existence. get a life.

You should worry.

* The maps are copyrighted and you cannot get one printed .. Even if you did have a high resolution image file, you would also have to have a permission to print letter from the owner of the copyright or no one will print it for you.

* And of course, you will probably find that just buying the size map you need will cost less in the long run

Question by Tiger Fan: Where to buy Beatriz Milhazes poster or print?
I am a big fan of Beatriz Milhazes artwork and was wondering if any of you knew where I could find a poster or print from this artist? I cannot afford her original artwork, but would love a fine replica in the form of a poster or print. Thanks.

A search of several shopping sites, including some dedicated specifically to art prints and posters, turns up numerous books featuring her art, but only one site selling prints suitable for framing. Follow the link below for the only site I was able to find featuring Beatriz Milhazes art prints.
